Grocery delivery development
Grocery delivery app development around your fulfillment process
Connect the way customers order with the way your store prepares each basket. We define your catalog, staff workflow and delivery requirements, then build the agreed scope using relevant GetDeliver experience where it fits.
Start with the store's actual workflow
Agree where product and availability information comes from, how an order reaches your team and who prepares it. A single store, several locations and a marketplace need different ownership and operating rules. We define the model before choosing features.
Make product choices clear
Plan how customers find items, understand units and review the basket. Fixed-price items, goods sold by weight and variable final quantities need different rules. We agree how estimates and final amounts should be shown before including those behaviors in the build.
Define picking and substitutions
Decide how staff work through an order and what happens when an item is unavailable. The scope can include substitution preferences, customer approval and changes to quantities or totals. Each decision needs a clear owner and a record your team can understand.
Keep stock and payments consistent with the agreed model
We review the interfaces available from your catalog, POS or inventory system before committing to synchronization. We also agree how a changed basket affects payment, refunds and confirmation. Provider access, update timing and exception handling are part of the integration scope.
Plan collection or delivery
Map the handoff from a prepared order to collection or a courier. Agree delivery areas, promised times and staff responsibilities. Delivery slots, capacity limits and courier assignment rules are assessed as requirements for your business.
Relevant commerce and staff workflows
GetDeliver demonstrates a customer storefront, cart and checkout, with documented order preparation and courier workflows. Its demo shop can be installed on a phone as a PWA. These provide relevant engineering examples; grocery-specific picking, stock synchronization and weighted-item handling are scoped for your project.

Deliver a defined first release
We map requirements, agree included and excluded work, implement the selected workflow and test the acceptance scenarios. Deployment, documentation and support responsibilities are specified in the proposal. An estimate follows the agreed catalog, roles, integrations and fulfillment rules.
Questions about your grocery delivery project
Can we use our existing POS or inventory system?
We review its interfaces, data and access conditions first. A connector is included only after its scope and dependencies are understood.
Can customers order goods sold by weight?
We can assess units, estimated quantities, final weights and payment adjustments as requirements. These are not claimed as existing GetDeliver features.
How would substitutions work?
We agree preferences, approval steps and final-total handling with your team before implementing the flow.
Can we start with one store?
Yes. A first release can focus on one store and its main workflow. Additional locations and shared inventory need explicit requirements.
Do customers need a native app?
Not necessarily. A mobile-friendly storefront or PWA may fit the required journey. We agree supported devices and behavior before selecting the implementation.
Does it work offline?
GetDeliver documentation describes cached catalog and cart access; checkout needs a connection. Live stock, order confirmation and staff workflows must not be assumed available offline.
Is this a ready-to-use grocery product?
This is an offer for commissioned development. The demonstrated commerce foundation and grocery-specific work are separated in the agreed scope.
